Me and my computer...

It's quite small, but I can just about see the homepage...

Altered Computer...

My altered computer, based on the first ever Apple 1 Computer!

I decided on making it out of copper metal, using a mixture of copper mesh and tape for the main structure after experimenting with different surfaces and ways with different types of copper metal. I think the mesh and the wire together give it a kind of stitched quality, which is cool as the stitched theme runs through my sketchbook too.

I also made the homepage with thin copper wire which can just about be seen through the photos!

Its quite small and delicate, but this is what I was aiming for, as its quite the opposite to the original, its not bulky, boxy or sturdy! And is so delicate, that its possible it may fall apart, but lets hope not.
